Faces We Wear explores identity, emotion, and the different selves we present to the world. Through expressive sculpted masks, I combine form, surface, color, and character to create faces that feel both theatrical and deeply human.
Faces of Sara is the first work in this evolving series. Eleven paper casts were made from a mold of the original sculpture. Although every face began from the same form, variations in surface, color, and finish give each cast its own expression and personality.
