Brass and Copper Wall Sculpture

This project was a 20′ x 4′ brass and copper sculpture that a client commissioned for their master bedroom. It took me a while to complete – but this blog will show the work and processes that went into it.

Here are some saws that I have re purposed. After finding a number of them at garage sales, I’ve designed and then cut some fun scenes into the blades using a plasma torch.

This is a seven foot oak church pew that I hand carved and refinished with a crucifixion scene. The back of the pew contains back lit stained glass.

This is a panel that I carved for a client who was having a custom buffet built for their dining room. I designed the scene to create a classic still life and had fun carving the many elements.

After seeing a number of customized guitars and steampunk guitars online, I decided that I needed to try and make one myself. This was a fun project as I was able to use a lot of different mediums and challenge the range of my skill set.
